Ms. Fonseca Balladares joins our lab as a junior specialist after graduating from UC Merced. We met Dara through the UCSF matchmaking event for post-baccalaurates looking for research projects, who are under-represented in medicine and thinking about applying to medical school in the future. Dara's project will involve looking at the location, phenotype and function of CD4 T cells in schisotsomiasis-PH.
