In collaboration with Joan Hilton, ScD, MPH in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (https://profiles.ucsf.edu/joan.hilton), we received a UCSF Research Allocation Program (RAP) Team Science Grant. The purpose of the grant is to evaluate a diagnostic prediction model using the PVDomics dataset for pulmonary hypertension status, and apply this to patients in sub-Saharan Africa with schistosomiasis hepatosplenic diasese, to identify those with or at risk of schistosomiasis associated pulmonary arterial hypertension.
