Biruk Kassa is the first author of a paper describing the phenotype of experimental PH caused by Schistosoma japonicum was published in PLOS-NTD. We found that mice exposed to S. japonicum develop PH, which is more mild than after S. mansoni, and the antigens between the 2 parasites are substitutable for sensitization.
