Paper describing the use of dexamethasone as prophylaxis for high altitude disease published

This clinical study led by Prof. Pasha (IGIB, India) found that dexamethasone prophylaxis prior to travelling to high elevation benefits women more than men, including preventing the acute rise in right ventricle systolic pressure. Drs. Rahul Kumar and Brian Graham were co-authors on this paper, and this is an ongoing collaboration for our group.
